History

The Boorugu family’s experience in crafting designer jewelry dates back to over 150 years. Established in the year 1862, their reputation in jewelry business is entirely built on strong values and magical designs. The Founder, Late Boorugu Mahadev, made ‘Quality’ as habit in business and the same value has been imbibed by the successive 6 Generations of Entrepreneurs. Late Boorugu Mahadev was also conferred the title of “Rao Saheb” by the Viceroy of India (British Government) on 9th June 1938, for his impeccable community service.

Mr.Boorugu Muralidhar Rao

As envisioned, the business has grown leaps and bounds over the decades under the able leadership of Mr.Boorugu Muralidhar Rao, who is presently managing Boorugu Bros Jewellers. Mr.Nagesh Boorugu and Mr.Dinesh Boorugu (Children of Mr.Boorugu Muralidhar Rao), Managing Partners of M/s. Boorugu Bros Jewellers, will now ornate Hyderabad with an exquisite flagship jewelry showroom in Begumpet who are presently located in R.P.Road, Secunderabad,India.

Nagesh Boorugu

Born on 11th August, 1975 has done his MBA (Masters in Business Administration) is into jewellery business since 1992.
Government Approved Jewellery Valuer(Appointed by Income tax Department,Government of India)
Graduate in Diamonds from G I A (Gemological Institute of America), Carlsbad,C.A, U.S.A. a world renowed instititue in Diamonds.
National Champion in Optimist Class Yatching in the year 1987 and 1988, represented India in “SAIL THE GULF 1993”. He loves to Swim, plays Tennis & Table Tennis
Served as President for Junior Chamber International Secunderabad (India) for the year 2010 and also a Qualified Zone Level Trainer.

Dinesh Boorugu

He has been involved in the jewellery business for more than two decades.
He has a diploma in diamonds and has done MBA (Masters in Business Administration)
Government approved Jewellery Valuer appointed by the Department of Income Tax, Govt. of India.
Passionate about sports, he has represented India at the “Doha Qatar Sail the Gulf-1993” championship.
